Wallsend Community Preschool recognises that sharing knowledge, teaching and learning have taken place on this land for tens of thousands of years. We are honoured to be continuing with this tradition and pay respects to the traditional custodians of this land on which our preschool is built- the Awabakal Peoples. We would also like to pay respects to the Aboriginal Elders of this nation both past, present and future.
Hours of operation
The Preschool operates between the hours of 8.15am and 3.45pm Monday to Friday.

The preschool is fortunate to have leaders who possess a great deal of knowledge and experience in early childhood education. The Director ( Kylie) and Educational Leader ( Cathy) guide the staff to ensure the preschool is providing a high quality service to the children and their families . Kylie and Cathy work collaboratively with all staff to develop a strong team culture, as well as inspiring staff to engage in ongoing reflection and professional learning to ensure best outcomes for children. It is evident that the preschool is continually evolving which is driven by strong leadership.
We had a great experience with Wallsend Community Preschool. It was clear for us how Bianca benefited from attending. We received a book at the end documenting the year, this was Bianca's favourite book for at least a few weeks, reading it over and over together 🙂
Wallsend Community Preschool provides the highest quality service to children and their families. The staff are professional and constantly developing their programs.
